1980s Style Cottage Core Edwardian Boho Gunne Sax Maxi Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1981

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1981 using a Simplicity pattern designed by Gunne Sax. The pattern offers a gorgeous Edwardian revival maxi dress with a square neckline with your choice of short puffed or long bishop sleeves. The pattern illustration suggests using lace and ribbon insets to really give it that Edwardian touch. (Or If you want more of a true 70's vibe this would be great done in contrasting cotton ditzy floral prints!) The waist is fitted with waistband and has a sewn in tie belt. The skirt is gathered and full with a ruffle bottom. This dress is unlined. It zips in the back.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggets soft cottons such as voile, gauze, batiste, dotted swiss, eyelet or rayon challis, chiffon, lace, or crepe de chin. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
