1960s Style MOD 3pc Set with Mock Neck Blouse, Straight Skirt and Matching Stockings! Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1965

McCalls 7945

$135.00

The beginning of the MOD era! This pattern from 1965 offers a choice to order a mock neck blouse, a skirt and a pair of matching stockings! (How cool is this?!? This just screams MOD!) The blouse is a dart fitted long sleeve shell. It has a mock collar hits at hip length. It zips down the back. It is unlined. The skirt is a slightly flared straight skirt. It has princess seams a bit further over than usual with top stitching detail. It is unlined and zips in back. The stockings are my favorite part of this pattern! The are to be made out of a stretch knit fabric. Being hand made they will have a back seam. They hit at your upper to mid thigh. They do not stay up on their own and you will need to wear them with a garter belt. They will not be like modern thin slinky stockings, they will be thicker. Think of them as leggings with feet that only come up to your thighs.

These will be custom made for you to your measurements. The blouse can be made out of a knit or a woven. If you want the blouse and stockings to match I suggest- stretch jersey in either cotton, wool, nylon, rayon or...I hate to suggest it but it IS period correct, poly knit or any super stretchy spandex type fabric. The skirt is suggested in linen, denim, twill, chino, gabardine, tweed, suiting, wool, double knit polyester. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.

Prices incude a budget of $12 per yard fabric max. If you want a more expensive fabric there will be an additional cost. Unsure about fabric and the total costs? Message me and we can discuss.

I will message you after the order is made and give you a list of measurements I will need to make your dream dress.
