1950s Style V Neck Surplice Dress with Full Eight Gore Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1956

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that dates between 1955-1956. It features surplice front bodice with a deep V neckline. There are tuck pleats at the shoulder/neck. Your choice of a plain front finish or a set in front bow. The sleeves are kimono style and can be made short or 3/4 length. The skirt is a full eight gore. I can make this for you with a side seam zipper as the original pattern calls for or I can move the zipper to the center back if you prefer. This dress is unlined.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great summer cottons (especially novelty prints!), sateen, rayon challis, shantung, gabardine or faille. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you. (100% silk or wool would be an additional cost)
