1950s Style Strapless Boned Swimsuit with Balloon/Gathered Shorts and Beach Coat Custom Made in Your Size from a Vintage Pattern 1953

This adorable one piece swimsuit/playsuit will be custom made for you using a pattern dated 1953. It features a flattering fitted strapless upper bodice with a inverted V shaped collar. It is fully boned and lined for support. (Straps are of coarse are optional) The shorts are baggy cut with elastic at the hems to create a balloon effect. Zips down the back.

The beach jacket is optional and is full cut with a pointed collar and patch pockets. It has toggle buttons and is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests this to be made out of lightweight cotton, gingham, seersucker, linen or sailcloth. This set is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
