1950s Style Scoop Neck Gathered Bust Summer Dress with Full Pleated or Pencil Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1956

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that dates between 1956 and 1957. It features a fitted bodice with short kimono sleeves, scoop neck and a flattering gathered empire bust. Your choice of a pleated waist pencil skirt or full pleated skirt. The dress zips down the back and is unlined. The jacket is optional and features a nehru collar and kimono cut 3/4 length sleeves. The jacket is fully lined.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. The pattern suggests thicker cottons, velveteen, corduroy, shantung, gabardine, taffeta or pique. This would also be great in stretch sateen. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
