1950s Style Pencil Skirt Dress With Boat Neck Cummerbund Belt and Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1957

This one just screams 'Girl Friday' or 'Mad Men' doesn't it? This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that is dated 1957. It features a boat neckline and is sleeveless. It has a fitted pencil skirt with front pleats and a back kick pleat. It has a single right side seam pocket. The back of the bodice has a neat keyhole cutout and the dress comes with a cummerbund belt. The dress zips on the left side and is unlined.

The cropped jacket is optional. It buttons in front with a cute little collar and features 3/4 length kimono sleeves. It is fully lined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. The pattern suggests thicker cottons, velveteen, corduroy, shantung, gabardine, or pique. This would also be great in stretch sateen. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
