1950s Style Gathered Bust Full Skirt Summer Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1949

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated between 1949 to 1950. It features a flattering gathered front bodice with contrast facing and optional shoulder straps. The skirt is a full half circle. The upper bodice is lined and boning will be added if you want this strapless. I can make this for you with a side seam zipper as the original pattern calls for or I can move the zipper to the center back if you prefer. This dress is unlined. The optional jacket is fully lined.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great summer cottons (especially novelty prints!), sateen, shantung, bridal satin, crisp taffeta or even linen. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
