1950s Style Fitted Surplice Sheath Dress with Optional Sailor Collar Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1954

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1954. It features a sleeveless fitted sheath dress with a unique sweetheart surplice neckline. The skirt is a pencil style with a kick pleat in the back, Except for the upper bodice, this dress is unlined and zips in the back.

The jacket is optional and can be purchased separately or as a set. It features an adorable V neckline with a sailor collar. It has dropped shoulders and 3/4 sleeves. The collar and sleeve cuffs are to be trimmed with decorative ribbon as shown. This is in the 'Eisenhower' style made to sit at the waist with a fitted waistband. It buttons up the front and is fully lined.

This dress and/or jacket will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The dress would work great in cottons, stretch sateen, shantung, bridal satin, twill, gabardine, wool, or even linen. The jacket would be best in thicker fabrics such as twill or gabardine. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you. (100% silk or 100% wool would be an additional cost.)
