1950s Style Empire Surplice Dress with Slim Front and Flaired Back Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1956

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1956. It features a empire waist V neck surplice bodice with your choice of shirt or 3/4 kimono style sleeves. The front bust and neck area has contrast binding and bow. The skirt is fitted and slim in the front but flared and full in the back creating a very flattering silouette. I can make this for you with a side seam zipper as the original pattern calls for or I can move the zipper to the center back if you prefer. This dress is unlined.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great summer cottons (especially novelty prints!), stretch sateen, shantung, bridal satin, crisp taffeta or even linen. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
