1950s Style Draped Boat Neck Long Sleeve Dress Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1956

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1956. It features 3/4 length or long sleeves and a bateau neckline with a slight cowl drape. The back bodice has a deep V neck. The skirt is either super full and pleated or a fitted pencil, your choice. I can make this with a side seam zipper as called for or move the zip to the center back for ease. This dress is unlined. It comes with either a plain belt or a cummerbund/obi style belt.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests quilt weight cottons, gingham, broadcloth, pique or taffeta. This would also be great in wool crepe, rayon crepe or stretch sateen. This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
