1950s Style Double Breasted Wide Collar Coat Dress With Full Pleated Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1951

 This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1951. It features a super wide shawl type collar on a double breasted bodice with a nipped in waist. The sleeves can be made short or 3/4 length. The skirt is super full with pleats in the front. This type of dress was called a 'coat dress' or 'redingote' resembling the cut and style of a coat but to be made out of thinner dress weight fabrics. It buttons closed in the front at the waist. This dress is unlined.

 This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great in medium weight cottons, gabardine, bridal satin, shantung, brocade or perhaps a crisp taffeta .This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really.
