1950s Style Classic Shirt Dress with Plunging Neckline High Collar and Gathered Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1951

This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern that is dated 1951. It features a classic shirt style button up bodice with a deep plunging neck and a high tuned under collar. Your choice of short or 3/4 sleeves with or without turned up cuffs. The skirt is a very full gathered style with optional inset panels as shown in view 1. This dress is made to include shoulder pads. The design doesn't really work without them as there is extra room in the shoulders and they will pucker and droop without them. This one zips on the side. Comes with a plain belt. Belt shown in view 2 is not included.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. The pattern suggests cottons, linen, pique, chambray, seersucker, taffeta or shantung, This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
