1950s Style 2pc Wide Birtha Collar Dress and Slip Dress Set Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1957

 This dress will be custom made for you using a vintage pattern dated 1957. It is a 2pc set that includes an over dress and a slip dress. The slip dress has a basic fitted bodice with a notched center front and spaghetti straps. It has a super full gathered skirt. I can make it zip on the side or the back. It is unlined. The over dress has a dramatic V neckline with a birtha collar. The bodice is fitted and can be made with no sleeves or 3/4 length balloon sleeves with cuffs. The skirt is full and gathered. It zips on the side and is unlined. Comes with a cummerbund belt.

The pattern suggests using an opaque fabric for the slip and a sheer fabric for the over dress. I love this idea and how fun the design is to play with using contrasting colors and prints! Of coarse, if you only want to order the slip dress, or prefer to only order the overdress you may do so, though I'm offering a discount if you choose to order the set.

 This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The slip would work great in cottons, bridal satin, shantung or taffeta. The over dress would be fab in organza, embroidered sheers, lace or if you want it opaque, cotton, taffeta, shantung dotted swiss or organdy .This outfit is so versatile though, it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
