1940s Style Scoop Neck with Peplum Aline Skirt Short or Long Length Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1947

This dress will be custom made for you in your size and choice of color using a vintage pattern that dates to around 1947. This classic mid 1940's design features a flattering fitted bodice with a gathered scoop neckline. Your choice of short plain or petal sleeves. The skirt is a basic aline with a lovely and flattering built in gathered peplum. Back bow is optional. Your choice of short or long length skirt. The original pattern calls for this to zip at the back seam. This dress is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would work great in summery fabrics like cotton or rayon challis (novelty prints would be great for this!) or warmer fabrics for winter like cotton back satin, satin crepe, rayon crepe, wool crepe or gaberdine. (Can you picture this in a solid black satin for a femme fatale effect?) This dress is so versatile that it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you. (100% silk or 100% wool would be at an additional cost.)
