1930s Style Sleeveless Drop Waist Dress with Pointed Waist Detail and Optional Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1930

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1930. It features a V neck with jabot. It has a sleeveless drop waist bodice with 4 rows of front horizontal front waist darts that are gathered, and three rows of vertical back darts. The bodice is W shaped at the hipline in front and back. The skirt is full and circular. I can make this with a snap/hook side closure or a zipper. This dress is unlined. The optional jacket is boxy with a tuxedo collar and cuffs. This would be great with the collar and cuffs in a contrast fabric! It is unlined. 

Please note that since this pattern is from the early 1930s, it will not fit like a modern garment. It is left a bit loose at the front waist where it is supposed to have a bloused effect. The pattern is made to fit a good 3" larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most pre 1933 styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests fabrics such as cotton, crepe, shantung, rayons, linen or lightweight suiting. However I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
