1930s Style Evening Dress with Godet Mermaid Hem and Optional Jacket Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1936

Wow, this one is a stunner! This dress will be custom made for you in your size and choice of color using a vintage pattern that is dates to 1936. This one has many options! View A- features a sleeveless dress with a sweetheart neckline. It is gathered under the bust. The back has a dramatic scarf flounce. View B- features a cowl neckline with short or long circular fluttery sleeves with rushing at the sleeve caps. The back has a keyhole slit and buttons at the back neck. Both versions have a slim fit skirt with a raised waistline in front and godets at the hem to create that fabulous mermaid hem. I can make this close on the side with a snap/hook or zipper. It is unlined and comes with a belt.

The jacket is optional. It has a rolled neck collar. The front closes at the neck and waist, your choice of puffed long fitted sleeves or bell sleeves. The skirt is flared and hits at knee length. This jacket is unlined.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in cotton voile, organdy, rayon crepe, crepe back satin, satin, brocade, taffeta, chiffon, organza, bengaline, gabardine or even a metallic lame! This dress is so versatile that it would look fab in almost any fabric really. Just let me know what you have in mind and I will find the right fabric for you.
