1920s Style Scoop Neck Drop Waist Dress with Hip Gathers and Ties and Optional Scarf Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1925

This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that is dated 1925. It features a typical 1920s dropped waist rectangular torso with a scoop neck line and optional rounded collar. It has a flattering soft gathers at the sides of the low waist/hip area that tie with long ribbons. You choice of kimono style short sleeves with turned up cuffs or long sleeves with gathers at the cuffs. View C shows the dress with dozens of tiny decorative buttons...there are at least 50!. This pattern is called a 'slip over frock' which means it is meant to have no openings and to be put on over your head (and wiggled into!) Most dresses of this era were baggy enough to be able to do this. This dress is unlined. The scarf is optional. It is a long rectangle that is unlined.

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in a cool summery cottons, rayon crepe, rayon challis, satin crepe, faille, sheers like georgette and lawn. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
