1920s Style Drop Waist Summer Dress with Tucks Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1921

 This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1921. Can't you just see this being a dress worn by one of the lovely ladies on the set of the early seasons of Downton Abbey or Mr. Selfridge? The bodice features three rows of vertical tucks and your choice of a scoop neck with wide collar or a higher neckline with a peter pan collar. The sleeves can be made short, elbow length or long with a cuff. The skirt is gathered at the waist and has three rows of horizontal wide tucks. Buttons in the back and comes with a sash belt that is partially sewn in.

The original pattern calls for this to be a 2pc set with a slip dress and over blouse. It suggests the skirt portion be sewn to a camisol that snaps closed in back, and the over blouse as a separate piece with a sewn on sash tie belt. However, I could skip the camisol and just make this a one piece dress by sewing the blouse directly to the skirt. You may choose to order this either way. 

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. The pattern suggests summer weight fabircs such as- cotton voile, organdy, batiste, dimity, handkerchief linen, dotted swiss, pongee, crepe de chin, georgette or challis.  I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
