1920s Style Drop Waist Mock Vest Dress with Pleated Skirt Custom Made in Your Size From a Vintage Pattern 1926

 This dress will be custom made for you in your size using a vintage pattern that dates to 1926. It features a typical 1920s dropped waist torso with a collar. The front bodice features princess seams with a sewn in lower belt that buttons and has optional welt pockets. Your choice of long fitted sleeves with fancy cuffs or long full sleeves. The lower front skirt has two inverted pleats. The back of the dress is quite plain with no darts or waist definition.  This pattern is called a 'slip over frock' which means it is meant to have no openings and to be put on over your head (and wiggled into!) Most dresses of this era were baggy enough to be able to do this. 

Please note that since this pattern is from the 1920s it will not fit like a modern garment. The pattern is made to fit a good 4" + larger at the waist than your actual waist measurement, yet fitted at the bust and hips. This is typical of most 1920s styles.

This dress will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This would be great in rayon crepe, rayon challis, satin crepe, linen, wool crepe or lightweight suiting. I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
