1900s Edwardian Style Blouse with Vertical Tucked Bodice & Horizontal Tucked Sleeves Custom Made in Your Size From an Antique Pattern 1909

 This blouse will be custom made for you in your size using an antique pattern that dates to 1909. Please pardon the pattern illustrations as I photographed my original copy and it is not in the best condition. (Though the actual pattern inside is in great condition being over 100 years old!) It is for a lovely Edwardian 'waist' with many finish options all which have row after row of tucks, vertical ones on the bodice and horizontal on the sleeves. The bodice has a square yoke neckline that can be made 'T' shaped in the front. It has a smooth fitted peplum. The sleeves can be made 3/4 length or long with or without an unpleated center yoke/panel. The blouse may be fully lined with the liner having a high standing collar. The pattern illustration shows it with about a hundred tiny little decorational buttons sewn on which I just love! This is optional of coarse, since it would take me a long time to sew all those puppies on. It closes in the back with your choice of hook and eyes or buttons.

This will be custom made for you to your measurements. Since it is made to order I can make it out of any fabric and color you want. This style blouse was often made out of sheer fabrics such as cotton voile, silk chiffon or cotton netting/bobbinet with an opaque liner out of cotton lawn, charmeuse or crepe de chine. This would be great in thin cottons like voile, batiste, silk or rayon georgette, rayon challis, chiffon, hanky linen or super lightweight wool.... I can make this in any fabric you want, it is up to you!
